Wind Tunnel Tested The SES tyre has been developed in CFD and a wind tunnel to promote better aerodynamics. The tried and tested tyre promotes real world aerodynamics when paired with an aero road wheelset.
The Grip A fast tyre is a good tyre but it will still need to be able to hold a line through corners without the fear of sliding out. While the SES tyre has racing in its DNA, evolution has indicated that thoroughbred race tires lack the durability required of the modern road rider’s appetite for adventure. Rain, hail or Australian's rough roads, the SES tyre is ready. The SES rubber is a blend of natural and synthetic rubbers that combine to make the tread compound. ENVE has strived for a balance between longevity and speed.
Puncture Protection and Weight Nobody wants to get a flat tyre on their ride but at the same time a tyre needs to be lightweight. The SES features Vectran technology which is a high performance but anti-flat protection to provide the best of both worlds.
Tubeless Ready A tubeless set up will help to lower rolling resistant and minimise flat tyres. Tubeless also allows great experimentation with tyre pressure. Low tyre pressure can improve traction and comfort depending on the road. The tyre is also compatible with hookless rims and can be installed without the need for a tyre lever.
